Sleepy Sun - Embrace
So...we went to the show! Best I have been to, maybe ever?. Most personal and magnetic show I've ever been to. Only space for about 50 or 60 people to sit/stand around on the ground and on balconies as seen below.
Got to talk to the band for a good while after show and wish them luck on the final 6-week leg of their tour. They played in the circular space and the sound was out of this world. The neighborhood in the surrounding area most likely did not sleep with their deep classic rock bass grooves, spacey battling guitars and howling/comforting male/female vocals and harmonica fueling the outside air. Alternating loud/soft psychedelic lullabies that create a floating magic sound-carpet for you to lay on...perfect for riding to another planet where the milk and honey flow and sandwiches are aplenty.
